Encouragement Shadow box with Lawn Fawn beach themed sets

Hello and welcome. I wanted to share this shadow box card that has been specially commissioned as an encouragement gift. This shadow box is a lot of fun to make and thought I'd recreate one again using Jan Brown's amazing video tutorial that you can see here on how to make one. I have made one before and you can see the post here.

I have used quite an array of Lawn Fawn sets to create this fun beach theme catering for the recipient's favourite things. The sets used are listed below for reference. The base card is a 11" x 11" Night of Navy cardstock and have used a retired Stampin' Up By the Shore designer series paper that I had on hand and makes a perfect ocean waves backdrop. Following Jan Brown's video tutorial is extremely helpful to constructing this shadow box.

The images are coloured in with Copics and stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink as it's copic friendly. The Coconut trees and sun has ink blending applied using Ranger distress inks.

The sentiment is from Kaisercraft's Feathers stamp set and was chosen to remind the recipient to follow and live their dreams. It has been white heat embossed on the vellum wave to be the focal point of the shadow box scene.

I just love how it turned out and makes a wonderful display piece. I hope you have been inspired and thank you so much for stopping by, 'till next time - Happy Crafting! :)
